Deliveries of the Polestar 4 begin in Singapore

Think you've seen a car without a rear windscreen on our roads recently? You might not have been dreaming. Polestar has announced that the first examples of its Polestar 4 coupe SUV have been delivered to customers here in Singapore.
The electric vehicle is said to combine the aerodynamics of a coupe with the spaciousness of an SUV, all wrapped in a package the exudes minimalist Scandinavian design. And one of these design touches, of course, includes the elimination of the rear windscreen, to give rear occupants an immersive experience. Look also to its low nose, retractable door handles, and frameless windows, all said to optimise air flow around the car.
The Polestar 4 can be had here in Singapore with animal welfare-secured leather upholstery, complete with ventilation, massage and headrest speakers for the front seats, while those gold seat belts can be had as part of the Performance Pack upgrade
Built atop the Sustainable Experience Architecture developed by Geely, the Polestar 4 promises generous space for all at the rear, who are also offered reclining seats and the chance to access medial and climate control settings via a screen located between the front seats.
And for those wondering, that rear windscreen is replaced in the Polestar 4 by a high-definition screen that shows a real-time feed from a roof-mounted rear camera. This is said to enable a far wider field of view than what can be experienced in most modern cars.
Both dual and single motor variants are available here, and both come equipped with a 100kWh battery. This battery facilitates a power output of 268bhp in the 'Long Range Single Motor' variant, and an output of 536bhp in the 'Long Range Dual Motor' variant, which allows it to sprint to 100km/h from a standstill in 3.8 seconds, making it the fastest Polestar to date.
