Dunlop SP Sport Maxx RT2 and SP Touring R1 launched in Singapore

The Dunlop SP Sport Maxx RT2 is a champion in grip and steering precision; the tyre demonstrates excellent grip and handling and delivers faster test track lap times versus its predecessor. The max shoulder blocks deliver enhanced strength and stiffness thanks to more rubber-to-road contact, making it an excellent tyre for situations that demand performance.


The SP Touring R1 is built on a stiff and durable carcass designed for long life with enhanced cornering and braking. With its new jointless full nylon band, wider reinforced steel belt and high tension casing ply, it will deliver greater durability and even road contact as well as improved cornering.
Furthermore the four-rib thread pattern delivers excellent performance on wet roads. The wider groove design evacuates water efficiently and reduces the risk of aquaplaning.
The R1 will be available in rim sizes 12-inch to 16-inch and in 50 to 80 series. Compared to its predecessor the R1 with four-rib design construction has a higher stiffness than that of five-rib design. Furthermore its circular cross profile is perfect for distributing tension and reducing deformation. The R1 is targeted for smaller and medium cars.
