Electric conversion firm Everrati Automotive has announced that it has completed final winter testing of its first U.S.A commissioned Land Rover Series.
The Land Rover Series IIA has been fully signed-off by the firm's engineering team after undergoing an intensive cold weather programme in Vermont, New England, even though the firm expects most of the examples of the converted Land Rover will be spending life in the more temperate climates of North America.
The U.S.A commissioned Land Rover Series is said to have undergone a rigorous validation programme that covers all its components, with particular focus placed on the performance and reliability of its OEM-grade electric powertrain. The test programme is also said to have encompassed high altitudes alongside the cold weather, and the car was tested to ensure high-voltage reliability and charging functionality.
Everrati's Land Rover Series IIA is offered with a 60kWh battery and comes with a drivetrain that develops a total output of 150bhp alongside peak torque of 300Nm. Its cabin, meanwhile, is upholstered in the world's lowest carbon leather for the automotive industry from the Bridge of Weir. Each Series IIA commission from Everrati is first fully restored from the ground up, before it gets its new electric powertrain that is designed and developed at the firm's headquarters in Oxfordshire, England.
