Exclusive XC60 Volvo Ocean Race Edition released in Singapore

The fifth generation Volvo Ocean Race Edition, which comprises the Volvo XC60, was launched at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show and intended for consumers with a taste for a more dynamic look and handling. It has a limited worldwide production, and only 20 units will be available for sale in Singapore.

The New XC60 Volvo Ocean Race Edition comes with Swedish-designed-and-built Drive-E engine in a 2.0-litre turbocharged T5 variant delivering 245bhp and 350Nm of torque.

To deliver the desired responsive, smooth and fuel efficient drivability, the T5 Drive-E engine is teamed with a new eight-speed automatic gearbox tuned for a refined drive and excellent fuel economy. 

CO₂ emissions are down to a class-leading 157g/km, which translates into a fuel consumption of as low as 6.7L/100km and a Carbon Emissions-based Vehicle Scheme (CEVS) rebate of $5,000.

The XC60 Volvo Ocean Race Edition is available in two colours - Ocean Blue and Bright Silver, and is fitted with unique 18-inch seven-spoke diamond cut Portunus wheels. The Volvo Ocean Race identification is displayed on the tread plates and there are emblems on the front fenders as well.

There is also a unique sailing-inspired decor inlay with Volvo Ocean Race stopover cities, and the load cover is decorated with a Volvo Ocean Race map and logo. Upon starting the car, the Volvo Ocean Race start-up sequence will play on the 7.0-inch Infotainment screen.
