Ferrari FXX K sold out in less than a week

The Ferrari FXX K is the latest track machine from the prancing horse, which costs €2.5 million (approximately S$4.06 million) a piece. But less than a week since its world premiere in Abu Dhabi, the marque has reportedly sold out its limited edition track machine.
According to Ferrari, fewer than 40 units of the FXX K will be built. Based on the LaFerrari, the FXX K sports substantial aero works that will allow it to go even faster on the track than its already blistering road-going sibling - by as much as five seconds on the company's Fiorano test track.
Part credits go to the enormous power output from the reworked 6.3-litre V12, which works with its electric motor to deliver a total of 1050bhp and a maximum torque of more than 900Nm. Tweaks to the engine include new camshafts, a modified valve train with mechanical rather than hydraulic tappets, redesigned intake manifolds with a special type of polishing treatment, as well as a modified exhaust system with its silencers removed.
