Fiat has revealed five adorable special versions of the Topolino, all designed to mark Disney's 100th anniversary as well as the 100th anniversary of the Lingotto building that built the Fiat Topolino of 1936 which also currently houses Fiat's headquarters.
Fans of the little commuter will know that the 'Topolino' name itself is also Italian for ‘baby mouse’. Four of the special cars were designed by Fiat Centro Stile itself, inspired by Disney creatives, while the fifth one was designed as a special collaboration of the Disney Artist Giorgio Cavazzano.
The four cars from Fiat Centro Stile are centered around four themes: Historical, modern, street, and abstract. The first, being inspired by Disney's first-ever short film, Steamboat Willie.
The second car takes a more modern approach, utilising Mickey Mouse's initials to generate a design that is said to celebrate the bright, colourful, and optimistic outlook that both Fiat and Disney share.
The third car is a more abstract take on the classic design cues and touches from both firms and pays homage to Disney's creativity with its impactful yet elegant design.
The fourth car from Fiat Centro Stile, takes inspiration from the world of street graffiti, paying homage to Mickey Mouse while celebrating the urban mobility that the Topolino represents.
The fifth car from Cavazzano finally sports a host of different Mickeys, all hosted against an orange background which is contrasted against blue bumper front and back.
