Five new City Direct bus services to start end February

Five new City Direct buses services will begin operating from five heartland areas starting next Monday, the 29th of February, The Straits Times reported. According to a Facebook announcement by the Land Transport Authority (LTA), the bus services, numbered 666 to 670, will serve Ang Mo Kio, Bedok, Clementi/Dover, Punggol and Yishun, providing a direct route to the Central Business District (CBD) for residents.

This will bring the total number of City Direct bus services to 20.

Bus service 666 (Punggol), will be the first to launch on the 29^th of February. It will run two trips towards the CBD in the mornings and two trips back to Punggol in the evenings.  It will be followed by 667 (Clementi/Dover) on the 8^th of March, 668 (Ang Mo Kio) on the 15^th of March, 669 (Bedok) on the 22^nd of March and 670 (Yishun on the 29^th of March).
