Fresh new look for the new SsangYong Korando for 2017
09 May 2017|5,200 views
The SsangYong Korando sport utility vehicle has been greatly enhanced for 2017 with a stylish and contemporary new front-end design and with upgraded equipment. The car sports a distinctive new grille and head light treatment, adopting the new SsangYong 'look' first seen on the Tivoli and Tivoli XLV, and on the recently announced Rexton. This also includes new fog lights, a lower valance and bonnet.
With its two-tonne towing capacity, the Korando has always been popular with those needing to tow a caravan, horsebox or boat trailer. With plenty of interior space, considerable legroom for all passengers, an almost completely flat floor and generous boot space - up to 1,312 litres, there's room for bulky leisure equipment or a couple of large dogs.
The new Korando is powered by a turbocharged, Euro 6-compliant 2.2-litre diesel, which puts out 176bhp and 400Nm of torque. The engine can be matched with either a six-speed manual or optional six-speed Aisin automatic transmission and comes with either front-wheel drive, or an intelligent on-demand all-wheel drive system. There are four models in the range - the two-wheel drive SE, SE 4x4, ELX 4x4, and ELX with automatic transmission. The new car goes on sale with immediate effect.
