LTA has announced that it has converted Geo Lah Pte Ltd (Geolah) and Trans-cab Services Pte Ltd (Trans-Cab)'s one-year provisional licences for Point-to-Point transport (P2P) services to full three-year Ride-hail Service Operator Licences (RSOL).
Both Geolah and Trans-Cab were awarded provisional licences on 23 December 2024, which allowed both companies to provide ride-hail services (from 1 January 2025) while improving operational capabilities to meet LTA's regulatory standards for safety and service provision before they are considered for a full three-year RSOL.
Following both companies' success in doing so, the respective RSOLs awarded will be valid from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2027.
This brings the total number of ride-hailing choices in Singapore to seven, with Geolah and Trans-Cab joining CDG Zig, GrabCar, Ryde, Tada, and Gojek on the list.
