GetGo Technologies (GetGo) is preparing to capitalise on new opportunities with a new office.
The company behind Singapore's largest and fastest-growing carsharing platform - GetGo Carsharing - has unveiled 'GetGo City', its new office in the heart of JTC's one-north innovation district.
The launch of the new office comes on the heels of GetGo's participation in Enterprise Singapore's flagship Scale-Up programme for high-growth local enterprises. GetGo states that it will be partnering with McKinsey and Co as part of its participation in the Scale-Up programme, which will see it accelerating its three-year growth plans. The firm also intends to scale its operations by introducing mobility solutions to serve a broader segment of the Singapore market and expand to international markets.
This new office will serve as an enabler of its ambitions to become a global leader in sustainable mobility. It has been purposefully designed to support integrated and collaborative work across a growing team, which GetGo intends to double over the next few years. This growth will include roles in digital marketing, product development, engineering, data science, and tech-enabled operations. The firm is also looking to develop future-ready skills for the green economy, including know-how in artificial intelligence and data analytics among its employees.
GetGo also states that its new location in the one-north tech-startup district will allow it to further develop the host of ecosystem partnerships it has been building with mobility partners including Hyundai (such as when the two firms agreed to add the Ioniq 5 into the GetGo carsharing fleet) to bike-sharing startups like AnyWheel. These, the firm states, will allow it to better promote electrification and integrate shared modes of transport, in support of Singapore's Green Plan 2030.
