The XPENG X9 Pro has been launched in Singapore

XPENG officially unveiled its new all-electric X9 Pro MPV in Singapore at an event hosted at its local showroom.

Building on the success of its flagship MPV, the XPENG X9, the refreshed model introduces upgrades across intelligent technology, performance, design, and in-cabin comfort, marking the next evolution of XPENG's intelligent luxury MPV offering.

At the core of the X9 Pro is XPENG's proprietary Turing AI chip, making it the first model in Asia Pacific to feature the technology following its debut at XPENG AI Day 2024. Designed for autonomous driving and AI workloads, it enables faster and more intuitive performance across advanced driver assistance systems and smart cockpit functions.

Built on XPENG's next-generation full-domain 800V high-voltage SiC platform, the X9 Pro is among the fastest charging vehicle in the market with up to 547kW of charging capability. This also enables it to recharge from 10-80% in as little as 12 minutes.

Available in two variants, the Standard Range has a century sprint timing of 8.2 seconds and delivers 535km of WLTP range, while the Long Range offers the same 0-100km/h timing, but has a longer WLTP range (615km).

The X9 Pro features a more streamlined exterior design

The X9 Pro features a more streamlined exterior design, with smoother, more aerodynamic lines that create a sleeker and more dynamic profile. This is accentuated by an angled windscreen and forward-leaning stance, while a larger rear window further improves airflow and overall driving efficiency.

At the front, the updated X-Robot Face 2.0 design, XPENG's signature futuristic styling, is paired with a supercar-inspired Active Grille Shutter (AGS) intelligent air intake system, which optimises performance and cooling.

And despite its large proportions (5,316mm of length and 1,988mm of width), the X9 Pro maintains a height of under 1,800mm, ensuring easy access to most carparks in Singapore.

Inside, the X9 Pro offers a refreshed cabin with enhanced ambient lighting and premium finishes. Passengers in the first and second rows benefit from Nappa leather seats and zero gravity seats with 10-point massage functions, delivering greater comfort on longer journeys. Flexible seating configurations allow the vehicle to adapt to different passenger and cargo needs, with boot space expanding from 721 litres to 2,554 litres.

The XPENG X9 Pro also introduces active rear-wheel steering, making it the only MPV globally to feature this advanced capability. By allowing the rear wheels to turn slightly, it enhances manoeuvrability at low speeds and stability at higher speeds.

And in terms of safety, all X9 Pro models are equipped with nine airbags, including a driver's side remote airbag and second-row side seat cushion airbags, providing enhanced protection for all occupants. ISOFIX child seat anchor points are also available in both the second and third rows.

XPENG is offering the X9 Pro Standard Range at a starting price of $336,999, with the X9 Pro Long Range going for a starting price of $347,999. The MPV is now currently available for test drives.

In addition, XPENG will host a public Showroom Open House on the weekend of 16 to 17 May 2026, from 11:00am to 04:00pm, where guest can test-drive and get up close and personal with the new MPV, as well as enjoying a range of showroom activities and F&B refreshments.
