Modena, where Maserati's historic Viale Ciro Menotti plant is located, has been home to the marque for more than 80 years. Now, the plant will see the return of Maserati's GranTurismo and GranCabrio range where, from late 2025 onwards, production of the aforementioned models will commence in all its versions.
The Modena plant is one of the most advanced facilities in the country, standing out for its cutting-edge technologies and highly skilled staff, who have always played a central role in Maserati's industrial legacy.
It is also a flagship for the production of super sports cars with the MC20 halo model, a coupe with extreme performance. The MC20 Cielo (convertible version) and the GT2 Stradale are also produced at the Modena plant and are both fitted with the Maserati Nettuno V6 engine, which was also developed and produced there.
The site's flexibility and cutting-edge technology are also demonstrated by the recent opening of the new Officine Fuoriserie Maserati, an exclusive space where customers' desires know no limits. The configuration process is also enhanced with an innovative paint line to create the Maserati of their dreams.
Maserati has stated that production of the GranTurismo and GranCabrio at its Modena plant is scheduled to begin in Q4 2025.
