Harley-Davidson kicks off Halloween celebrations here at the Wearnes Tower

Just two months after announcing that it will begin operations here in Singapore, Wearnes Harley-Davidson is already off to a flying start, holding the first Halloween celebrations amongst the Wearnes' group brands within the premises of 45 Leng Kee Road.
The HarleyWeen Nightster event saw drinks and snacks consumed aplenty as Harley owners and guests gathered for the night, with many dressed in costume, all ready to continue to that tradition of camaraderie that has come to define Harley-Davidson owner groups everywhere.
To kick things off for the night, numerous new Harley owners were welcomed at the event, with two even riding their new bikes right up into the festivities at the top of the Wearnes building. There additionally was a best-dressed contest, which saw attendees voting for their who they thought had the best costume at the event.
And to mark the start of many new collaborations between the Harley owners and Wearnes Harley-Davidson here in Singapore, the Presidents of the various riding clubs also came together to sign a gas tank. This gas tank will be displayed at the new Harley-Davidson showroom when it officially opens at 28 Leng Kee Road.
Speaking of which, General Manager of Wearnes Harley-Davidson, Mr. Samuel Eak, also announced at the event that the new showroom will not only accommodate future gatherings of riders, but will also serve as a flagship showroom for the region.
The Presidents of the various riding groups here also signed a fuel tank, which will be on display at the new Harley-Davidson showroom Sgcarmart understands from Mr. Eak that his immediate priority for the brand is the restoration of confidence amongst owners here, following the closure of Komoco's partnership with the Harley brand.
To this effect, the new dealership is now well along its way to training up its technical staff, with its team of three already including a Master Technician who is already set to head off to the Harley-Davidson University in Bangkok, Thailand, for more training in the upcoming week.
Sgcarmart also understands from Wearnes Harley-Davidson that Harley riders here will be able to join a lifetime membership programme which will net them a 15% discount off the Harley-Davidson merchandise at the new showroom, if they purchase a total of $600 worth of Harley-Davidson merchandise within two months.
The new Harley-Davidson showroom is currently expected to take up to one-third of the space at 28 Leng Kee, with the remaining space left dedicated to the Renault brand.
