Facelifted Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid launched in Singapore

As Borneo Motors Singapore's (BMS) 100th anniversary celebrations kick into full swing, it's making good on its promise to give customers more to look forward to for the road ahead with a double expansion of the Toyota family in Singapore.
Launched amidst the centennial festivities on Wednesday morning (20 August 2025), the facelifted Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid is now officially on sale in Singapore, and lands with a number of styling tweaks that set it apart from its predecessor.
A honeycomb-patterned grille and bracket-shaped tail lights are part of the Corolla Cross' tweaked styling
For starters, it's now fronted by a honeycomb-patterned grille that places more visual emphasis on whatever paintwork you've opted for. (On this note, there are five new exterior colours for customers to choose from, including the likes of Emotional Red 2, Massive Gray and Mud Bath.)
The car has also gotten updated head and tail lights, the latter of which come in darker casings and sport aerodynamic fins.
The Corolla Cross is also said to offer more ergonomic comfort on the inside thanks to a neatened-out central console area. While this houses a new gearshift lever, handy physical controls remain for functions such as selecting your Drive Modes and for activating the car's 360-degree panoramic view monitor. Also new is a larger wireless smartphone charging tray.
The rest of the cabin, however, should be familiar to those well-acquainted with the original Corolla Cross.
The Corolla Cross continues to offer a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and an 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
The dashboard still pairs a 12.3-inch driving instrument cluster with an 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen, which supports wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other features include a six-speaker sound system and dual-zone air-conditioning with a pollen filter, but the Corolla Cross does get an extra bit of dazzle now thanks to LED lighting strips on the front doors.
On the go, the updated Corolla Cross Hybrid is still powered by a 2.0-litre Dynamic Force engine that is mated to an 83kW electric motor, which put out a combined 146kW (196bhp), sending the car from 0 to 100km/h in an impressive 7.7 seconds.
But Toyota states that this setup has been tuned differently so that the Corolla Cross Hybrid slips more easily into electric mode. Officially, the car is thus more efficient than before, and boasts an official fuel consumption figure of 20.8km. (We managed 20km/L on the dot when we drove the car recently: You can read our review of it here.)
On the go, drivers will also still get to enjoy 'Toyota Safety Sense 3.0' - the brand's latest-generation suite of advanced safety features - which comprise the likes of Road Sign Assist, Lane Departure Alert, and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control. Additionally, the Corolla Cross Hybrid is equipped with a Blind Spot Monitor system, a Parking Support Brake and eight airbags.
The BMS100 Special Edition Corolla Cross gets Nappa leather upholstery, commemorative badging, and gunmetal rims
As part of the ongoing BMS100 celebrations, Borneo Motors is also offering the BMS100 Special Edition Corolla Cross (limited to 100 units), which comes with gunmetal rims, Nappa leather upholstery, and bears commemorative badging.
As mentioned, however, it's not just the updated Corolla Cross Hybrid that Borneo Motors has prepared for local customers.
Making a special preview on Wednesday morning as well was the all-new Toyota Noah Hybrid, which is currently still not on sale. When it eventually joins Borneo Motors' official Toyota pricelist, the Noah will nestle itself between the Sienta and the Vellfire/Alphard twins as the mid-sized member of the brand's MPV lineup.
While official specifications for BMS-sold units cannot be confirmed yet, it's worth noting that the unit visitors could get up close with in the Toyota showroom was the seven-seater variant - with two individual chairs in the second row (rather than a full bench).
The specific Noah Hybrid on display on Wednesday was equipped with with a factory-fitted head unit and powered doors with kick-activation
It was also equipped with a factory-fitted infotainment head unit, and had dual powered sliding doors that supported kick-activation. Sgcarmart understands that the car is currently undergoing homologation, and is expected to be launched officially in the coming weeks.
