Harley-Davidson unveils new CVO motorcycles

Harley-Davidson has unveiled two premium 2023 models from Custom Vehicle Operations: The new CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide.

Both models sport designs described as an evolution of the familiar shapes of previous Harley-Davidson Grand American Touring motorcycles, notably via the use of fairings with integrated venting.

Both models also sports LED lighting with integrated turn signals, alongside a trimmed front fender, 22.7-litre fuel tank, a distinctive side bevel, and saddlebags that take after the design of the fairings and fuel tank.

Both models also come powered by a 2.0-litre V-Twin Milwaukee-Eight engine, with liquid-cooled cylinder heads with a new cooling system, variable valve timing technology, a new intake tract and a performance exhaust system.

High-performance front and rear Showa suspension components promote confident handling and improved rider comfort compared to previous CVO models, with rear suspension travel increased by 50%.

Both the CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide models also come with selectable ride modes: 'Road', 'Sport' and 'Rain', electronically controlling power delivery, engine braking, cornering ABS and traction control settings.

Also new is a 12.3-inch TFT colour touch screen infotainment system that replaces all analogue instrumentation and most switches. This premium display is customisable within three distinct view options and is compatible with Apple and Android devices.

Both models also feature expanded media storage compartments with a USB-C connection point. These will come alongside a premium, high-performance HarleyDavidson Audio powered by a Rockford Fosgate Stage II four-speaker audio system and a new 500W RMS amplifier.
