HMGICS's Na Oh restaurant celebrates first anniversary

Na Oh, the contemporary Korean restaurant within HMGICS, will celebrate its first anniversary with a private two-day event.
Taking place on 4 to 5 June 2025 for select media and guests, the event will offer an exclusive menu featuring Hanwoo beef, one of Korea's most coveted native delicacies, and one that has never been commercially available in Singapore.
Hanwoo beef cannot currently be sold or served in Singapore, as most of Korea is not recognised as free from foot-and-mouth disease (FMD), which restricts beef exports to Singapore and many other developed countries, although Jeju Island was recently recognised as FMD-free.
But for this occasion, Na Oh has secured a one-time special import exception for Hanwoo beef exclusively for this event, offering a rare and unprecedented dining experience in Singapore.
The meal opens with Homemade Tofu with Aged Soy Sauce paired with assorted jeon, followed by Hanwoo Beef Tenderloin with Oyster, as well as Summer Squash and Nabak Kimchi.
The first of the main courses features Hanwoo Striploin Yukhwe, which consists of deodeok, pear, rock seaweed bugak, and gochujang. This is followed by Charcoal-grilled Hanwoo Rib Cap and Marinated Galbi, served with smart farm leaves, ssamjang, and chamnamul muchim.
The final savoury course sees Hanwoo Gomtang, a broth made with brisket, short rib, oxtail, and tendon, served alongside Golden Queen's rice, Abalone Jang, and Chonggak Kimchi. To conclude, guests are served a refreshing Summer Peach Bingsu.
This menu is also accompanied by a curated selection of beverages that highlight Korean artisanry: Makgeolli, chungju, and soju, alongside a selection of hot and iced teas, including purple sunchoke and maesil.
As with all of Na Oh's offerings, this special event reflects Hyundai's human-centric approach - one that brings together heritage, innovation, and craftsmanship across disciplines, from culinary to mobility, within HMGICS.
