One such company is Honda.
Over the past decade, Honda has spent a significant amount of money developing hybrid technology, which is one reason that they can offer such a complete line of Hybrids.
Their latest Hybrid comes in the form of their popular compact car, the Jazz.
Using the same IMA hybrid motor and control system as the Insight, and CR-Z, the Jazz Hybrid is powered by the same 1.3 litre i-VTEC petrol engine, and an electric motor, which is sandwiched between it and the CVT transmission.
No technical details have been released yet.
Distinguishing the Jazz Hybrid from its petrol powered stable mates, is a pair of revised headlights, a new grille, a chrome accent around the tailgate, clear tail light lenses, and a single-colour dashboard with blue lighting elements.
Leather seats will also be available as an option.
