Hyundai Motor Group to establish new Global Design Division

After giving us a slew of eye-catching cars including the Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6, the Santa Fe, and amazing concepts such as the N Vision 74, it looks like the Hyundai Motor Group is eager to deliver yet more eye-candy.
The firm has announced that it will establish a Hyundai Motor Group Global Design Division in order to strengthen its design capabilities. This new division will spearhead the group's efforts to design electric vehicles and future mobility solutions, including its purpose-built vehicles (of which Kia is particularly keen on developing, read more about it here), as well as its robotics and air mobility solutions.
The new division will be headed by Luc Donckerwolke (responsible for cars including the Lamborghini Gallardo), as its Chief Design Officer. Donckerwolke continues to serve as the Chief Creative Officer for design creatives aspects for the Hyundai Motor Group brands.
Despite the formation of this new division, Hyundai Motor Group states that it will continue to direct the design direction of each of the brands under its car to ensure that each remains differentiated.
