Hyundai unveils first ever fully-electric Staria in Brussels
23 Jan 2026|197 views
Hyundai has unveiled its Staria Electric model at the 2026 Brussels Motor Show, with a generously proportioned and spacious cabin at the core of its appeal. Its flat floor, wide interior dimensions and intelligently arranged seating create a lounge like atmosphere that allows passengers to relax and move with ease.
This model is the first fully electric version of the Staria lineup and is built on an 800V electrical architecture that allows for ultra-fast DC charging (10-80% in approximately 20 minutes). It is equipped with an electric motor offering an output of 160kW and an 84kWh battery that delivers an estimated WLTP range of up to 400km.
The Staria Electric's spaciousness is enabled by Hyundai's "Inside Out" design theme, which shapes the exterior around the cabin experience. The long body, low beltline, and expansive glazing are not just design cues that deliver outstanding visibility and exceptional spatial comfort. Large windows fill the cabin with natural light, reinforcing its open, welcoming character while supporting a clear, uncluttered layout.
Functionality is seamlessly integrated into this sense of roominess, with dual 12.3-inch digital displays combining the instrument cluster and infotainment system that present key information clearly and intuitively within the driver's natural field of view. Throughout the cabin, thoughtfully designed details support practical daily use, from intelligently placed storage compartments to seating layouts that prioritise comfort, accessibility, and flexibility.
At its launch, Hyundai will introduce two seating variants: A seven-seater Luxury and a nine-seater Wagon. The former is geared towards family and leisure applications, while the Wagon is geared for larger families, groups, or shuttle services. And depending on the variant, the Staria Electric offers a range of seat comfort features including heated and ventilated front seats.
The Staria Electric is set to go on sale in South Korea and Europe in the first half of 2026, with more information to be revealed closer to its market introduction.
