Hyundai Motor Company (Hyundai) and CNN International Commercial (CNNIC) are expanding the long-term partnership between both brands with a new enhanced global campaign which will see Hyundai become the exclusive sponsor of K-Everything, a CNN Original Series.
This new host-led multi-platform travel series will trace the roots of Korean culture with some of the biggest names in Korea's creative scene. Hosted by well-known actor, director, producer, and social advocate Daniel Dae Kim, K-Everything will follow him on a quest to discover how South Korea has sparked a global pop culture movement and will feature four dedicated episodes spotlighting music, film, food, and beauty with big names such as BIGBANG's Taeyang, actor Lee Byung-hun, Michelin-starred chef Corey Lee, and supermodel Irene Kim.
Airing on CNN International in Q2 2026, all four episodes can be streamed on HBO Max. In addition, a dedicated digital hub will feature a rich suite of digital and social content celebrating Korean creativity and cultural impact.
This is not CNNIC's first rodeo with Hyundai, with the 22-year long-standing partnership between both brands including sponsorships for Visionaries (a 2024 series spotlighting extraordinary individuals and inspiring leaders across art, business, technology, and sport) and Saved by the Future (a 2020 series that explored how innovation would shape the way humans live in the future).
This initiative also highlights K-culture's global rise through the in-depth and authentic narratives that have been a hallmark of the CNN Original series, as well as aligning with Hyundai's brand vision of Progress for Humanity by fostering inspiration and cultural exchange in markets worldwide.
