The Hyundai N Vision 74 concept has joined the lineup of historic cars at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este at Lake Como, Italy.
First unveiled in 2022, the hydrogen fuel cell-hybrid was developed to serve as a 'Rolling Lab' for Hyundai's performance N brand, and takes its design from the 1974 Pony Coupe Concept conceived by Italian Designer Giorgetto Giugiaro, which the firm has recently restored.
The Hyundai N Vision 74 concept, as with all of Hyundai's rolling Labs, will be used to test and verify the firm's future technologies before they make their way into production models and support the firm's ambition to become a leader in a zero tailpipe emissions future.
The car comes powered by independent electric motors at either end of the rear axle, allowing it to boast a total power output of 671bhp. This power, Hyundai states, allows the car to hit 100km/h in less than 4.0 seconds.
The car is powered by a 114bhp hydrogen fuel cell stack at the front, and a 62kWh lithium-ion battery placed between the driver and passenger. The car additionally carries two 2.1kg hydrogen tanks at the rear, which allow it to post a driving range of nearly 600km.
