Iconic Volvo XC90 to be part of water ski events for SEA Games

Volvo Cars Singapore is proud to be the official car of the 28^th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games. The iconic all-wheel drive Volvo XC90 will be used to assist the towing of waterski and wakeboard boats in and out of the water. 

"The Volvo XC90 will help increase the efficiency of the waterski and wakeboard events at the 28^th SEA Games by reducing the time taken to tow boats out of the water," said Paul Fong, Singapore Waterski and Wakeboard Federation's Director of High Performance.

The iconic Volvo XC90 seven-seater luxury SUV has always been a front runner of the SUV segment - proceeding to front global innovations such as Roll Stability Control, Roll Over Protection System and an integrated adjustable booster cushion of children in the second row. 

The Volvo XC90 offers the versatility to suit any lifestyle and more than a decade after its launch, the American Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) still ranked the Volvo XC90 as one of the safest cars on the market by naming it the 2014 Top Safety Pick+.
