In-car gaming is coming to the MBUX infotainment system

Mercedes-Benz has announced a new partnership with Boosteroid to make it easier than ever for users of the MBUX infotainment system to access a host of games.

Described by Mercedes-Benz as the largest global independent cloud gaming provider, Boosteroid's app is set to arrive as part of the MBUX Entertainment Package Plus for vehicles equipped Mercedes’ third generation MBUX infotainment system. 

This new app will make it easier than ever for users to access a variety of games from their vehicle. The Boosteroid app will be available in Europe and North and South America come 2025 and can be downloaded via the in-car App Store. Users can play their own games only when the vehicle is parked using their Bluetooth gaming controller or mobile phone. 

Mercedes states that visitors to the SK Gaming booth at gamescom, happening from 21 to 25 August 2024 in Cologne, Germany, will be able to try select games including the Need for Speed Mobile game. Selected titles will also be available for sample from a Mercedes-Benz E-Class at the gaming convention.
