Inchcape Singapore has announced that it has acquired AutoInsure, Singapore's one-stop automotive solutions workshop.
Established in 2014, AutoInsure has in the last eight years successfully gained a strong foothold in the aftermarket workshops industry. The automotive solutions provider was the appointed workshop by fleet companies and electric vehicle OEM distributors and is now authorised by many insurer companies as the go-to repair workshop and/or accident reporting centre.
Car owners of any brand and insurance tier will now have access to Inchcape Singapore's globally-trusted aftersales services Through this deal, Inchcape Singapore will officially take over the location, facilities and branding of AutoInsure. The new acquisition, Inchscape states, will leverage the best-in-class automotive solutions from AutoInsure with the globally trusted services that Inchscape provides, allowing it to offer customers reliable options with a comprehensive suite of aftersales services in more convenient locations.
This means that vehicle owners here in Singapore will no longer need to visit various workshops for their different automotive needs. Instead, Inchcape Singapore will now also be able to service cars from all makes and models, as well as all drivetrains, regardless of insurance tier for accident repairs. Prior to this acquisition, the firm was only able to service the cars it distributed locally.
Inchcape Singapore is additionally extending its Body and Paint coverage and solutions across all insurance tiers following this acquisition. The Body and Paint coverage was previously only reserved to its premium-tier insurance packages.
Inchcape Singapore further states that this acquisition will position it to be able to build a robust and highly versatile ecosystem that supports electric vehicles both today and into the future.
Customers can look forward to nothing but convenience, reliability, and efficiency of the highest order if their electric vehicle requires accident repair, thanks to the wide range of customer-oriented solutions, skilled workmanship and quality parts now offered from Inchscape Singapore.
