Jeep has revealed the new all-electric Jeep Wagoneer S.
Based on the Stellantis Group's STLA Large platform, this Jeep Wagoneer S comes equipped with a 400V, 100kWh battery pack, which can be charged from 20% to 80% capacity in 23 minutes.
The Jeep Wagoneer gets a 100kWh battery pack and a total power output of 592bhp, allowing it to sprint to 96km/h from a standstill in 3.4 seconds
This battery, in turn, animates a drivetrain that comprises of three electric drive modules that allow the car to independently power the front and rear wheels. Delivering a total of 592bhp and 800Nm of torque, this drivetrain will see the SUV reaching 96km/h from a standstill in 3.4 seconds and offering a range of 482km.
Up front, the Jeep Wagoneer S continues to feature the brand-iconic seven-slot grille, although this is now used to house a light strip that aids illumination of the area ahead of the vehicle. The vehicle also now gets slim head lights, which sit below a bonnet that is said to be angled for optimal efficiency at high speeds.
The Jeep Wagoneer S also features a cantilevered rear spoiler at the rear, while its sloping roofline ensures that this new all-electric variant retains the signature Wagoneer silhouette.
A total of 45 inches of usable screen space is offered in the cabin of the Jeep Wagoneer S, which includes a 10.25-inch interactive passenger display
Jeep states that the exterior of the Wagoneer S delivers a drag coefficient of just 0.29 - the lowest yet for a vehicle from the firm. This comes thanks to touches that include flush door handles, as well as the rood and rear liftgate spoiler. The car also sports underbody shielding, front tire spats, and unique side-sills, all designed to minimise drag when on the move.
In the cabin, the Jeep Wagoneer S sports a 12.3-inch digital driver cluster, a 12.3-inch center display, as well as a 10.25-inch front interactive passenger display, all housed within a cross-car wing sculpture that spans the entire width of the front instrument panel complete with wine red accent stitching and chiselled metal decorative trim.
The wine red stitching is also utilised on the car's flat-bottom twin-spoke steering wheel, while the chiselled cross-metal accents are also utilised on the vehicle's door cards.
The all-electric 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S will launch in the U.S.A and Canada in the second half of 2024 before arriving in other markets around the world.
