Stellantis’ Tychy plant begins Jeep Avenger 4xe production

Stellantis has announced that its vehicle plant in Tychy has launched production of the all-wheel drive (AWD) Jeep Avenger 4xe. The first vehicle produced there was the Jeep Avenger - in January 2023 - from the exclusive special series "The North Face Edition", which was limited to 4,806 units, symbolising Mont Blanc's height.

The Tychy vehicle plant, the sole manufacturer of the Jeep Avenger in the world, has received investments that have expanded its capabilities to include low- and zero-emission powertrains. This makes the Avenger range one of the most comprehensive, offering three powertrain options, two transmissions, and two drivetrain options.

The Jeep Avenger 4xe is available in three trims levels: Upland, Overland, and the aforementioned special series The North Face Edition. All versions are equipped with a groundbreaking powertrain 4xe, which blends hybrid efficiency with AWD technology.

At its core is a 48V hybrid system featuring a 1.2-litre engine that generates 147bhp that is paired with dual 21kW electric motors located at the front and rear. This allows the Avenger 4xe to hit a top speed of 194km/h and a century sprint timing of 9.5 seconds.

Celebrating 50 years of production, 224,017 cars rolled off the Tychy vehicle plant in 2024, with the milestone of the 13 millionth car produced in the company's history achieved in January 2025.
