Jeep Avenger 4xe to take on European tour

Jeep is taking the Avenger 4xe on a roadshow across Europe following its debut in Frankfurt, Germany.

Titiled Adventure On The Road, the tour will see the hybrid crossover visiting a host of European cities in countries including the U.K., Spain, and France. The tour will also see the car attending a host of sports competitions, lifestyle expos, and concerts on top of the Red Bull Pool Drop at Mash in Germany, the Grand Pavois La Rochelle in France, CarFest in the U.K., and Autobello in Spain.

Jeep states that these events will bring the car to a host of open-air enthusiasts, sports aficionados, as well as the 4x4 owners who seek a distinctive product and value the additional traction and safety of all wheel-drive.

The Jeep Avenger 4xe is powered by a hybrid drivetrain that comprises a 134bhp combustion engine alongside two 28bhp electric motors that can deliver a claimed total of 1,900Nm to the car's rear wheels thanks to a 22.7:1 reducer. This drivetrain allows the Avenger 4xe to complete the century sprint in 9.5 seconds, and drive on to a top speed of 194km/h.

The car also comes with features including rear tow hooks, roof bars, protective anti-scratch bumpers and a matte hood sticker to reduce sun glare alongside washable, durable seats to allow it to take on any situation.
