Kia Charge network continues to expand in the U.K.

Owners of all-electric and plug-in hybrid Kia models in the U.K. will find it easier to find charging stations, as Kia Charge - a charging service exclusive to Kia customers - has now expanded to reach more than 30,000 chargers in the country.
Kia states that the total number of chargers on the network has grown by up to 118%, after having started with 13,900 chargers in February 2021. The last 12 months has also seen the number of 100kW chargers in the network growing by 189%, assisting those looking to make longer journeys in their electric vehicles.
The network now includes a total of 26,800 alternating current chargers, while 10% of its chargers are considered rapid direct current chargers (offering charging speeds from 50kW to 350kW). The number of available charging locations on the network is also expected to more than double by the end of 2023.
Sales of plug-in hybrid and all-electric models made up 20% of Kia's total sales in the U.K. in 2022.
