The all-new Kia Sportage has been revealed in Europe and features enhancements in design, innovation, technology and convenience.
The new Sportage is offered with both petrol and hybrid (HEV) powertrains from launch, with a shortened wheelbase to meet the preferences of European SUV customers without compromising on interior space.
The petrol powertrain variant comes in front-wheel drive (FWD) and is powered by a 1.6-litre engine offering 148bhp, while the hybrid variant comes in FWD or all-wheel drive (AWD), is equipped with the same engine, and offers a combined output of 176kW (236bhp).
Exterior-wise, its new front and rear bumpers create a strong silhouette, with LED Star Map lighting and Kia's distinctive tiger nose grille. A new wheel design is available in 17-inch, 18-inch, and 19-inch variants, with exclusive 18-inch and 19-inch versions for the 'GT-Line' and 'GT-Line S' models.
Inside, the Sportage's steering wheel features a new two-spoke design, while its updated crash pad and hidden air vents create a sleek, minimalist finish. It also has new seat covers, with the 'GT-Line' and 'GT-Line S' variants offering a stylish black and white interior in artificial leather and suede.
Central to its driving experience is the Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (CCnC), featuring dual 12.3-inch curved panoramic displays and a new 10-inch head-up display (HUD). In addition, Kia Connect and OTA updates can access specific features and services, check the vehicle lock status, plan routes, and more.
Rear cargo capacity is up to 587 litres and can go up to 1,776 litres with the second-row seats folded. Additionally, the dual-level cargo floor available on the HEV variant provides flexible cargo carrying capabilities.
As with all vehicles across the Kia product portfolio, the Sportage features a full suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems including Standard Auto Emergency Braking with Pedestrian, Cyclist, and Car Detection; as well as Highway Driving Assist 2.
The all-new Sportage will be produced at Kia's plant in Zilina, Slovakia and is expected to arrive in the brand's European showrooms in Q3 2025.
