Kia reveals the exterior of the PV5

Kia has unveiled the exterior of its new PV5 Purpose-Built Vehicle. The vehicle is set to be available as either a passenger or a cargo variant, and forms part of Kia's Platform Beyond Vehicle global business strategy.
Up front, the vehicle gets vertical lighting elements not unlike those found on the EV5 and EV9. These are visually integrated with the vehicle's A-pillar and tie its sleek upper section with its robust lower half.
Passenger variants of the PV5 will get large windows along their sides, while the cargo variants will get twin side-opening doors at the rear
The Kia PV5 also comes with black geometric wheel arch claddings and rocker panels, visually suggesting its capabilities, while a clean profile is said to reflect how Kia intends to make use of technology to redefine space and mobility.
Opt for the passenger variant and you'll instead get large windows along the side of the vehicle, a touch made possible thanks to its low beltline. These windows come with graphic glass surrounds to contrast the PV5's body colour.
The vehicle also comes with interchangeable lower bumpers - an aesthetic and protective design touch. On the cargo variant, twin side-opening doors will offer easy access for loading and unloading goods.
Kia states that it will reveal more details of the new PV5 come 27 February 2025 as it hosts its Kia EV Day in Tarragona, Spain.
