Lamborghini Singapore opened its brand new showroom at Leng Kee Road on 1st June, marking a new era for the Italian brand in the Lion City. To celebrate the momentous occasion, distinguished guests in attendance include Mr. Raffaele Langella, Ambassador of Italy to Singapore, Mr. Federico Foschini, Chief Commercial Officer of Automobili Lamborghini, Mr. Matteo Ortenzi, Chief Executive Officer of Lamborghini Asia Pacific, Mr. Melvin Goh, Lamborghini Singapore Managing Director, and Mr. Andy Goh, Lamborghini Singapore Executive Director.
Spanning over 530m2, the new Lamborghini Singapore showroom incorporates the brand's revamped corporate design, reflecting the need for increased space with the company's recent expansion of its model lineup.
This includes the new Lamborghini Urus Super Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV), a car that elevates the SUV to a level not previously possible. A true Lamborghini in terms of design, performance, driving dynamics and emotion, as well as driveable everyday in a range of environments, it is the most versatile Lamborghini ever produced.
In fact, there has been 47 Urus sold since its launch - the second highest order of numbers in South East Asia. Lamborghini sales are expected to grow by 50 percent this year and then double again in 2019. The Urus has also seen a growing customer base of families and women who were new to the brand.
The exterior of the new showroom is instantly recognisable by the illuminated Lamborghini shield that glows at night. Inside, the bright and minimalist space is characterised by polygons, sharp forms, raw surfaces and a diffusion of light and colour.
Customers also have the opportunity to literally 'touch and feel' the world of Lamborghini, thanks to a client lounge that includes a car configuration system, as well as the product and Ad Personam areas that provides samples of exterior and interior finishes.
"Lamborghini is a strong, highly acclaimed brand worldwide, and our new dealership environment is a very tangible demonstration of this," said Mr. Federico Foschini, Automobili Lamborghini Chief Commercial Officer.
"We are committed to building a solid dealer network that clearly communicates our brand to loyal and new clients in both the ways we look and the way we operate. Lamborghini and our dealer partners are investing in a bright future together."
"Endowed with the support of Lamborghini owners and enthusiasts, the new Singapore showroom simply reflects our confidence in Lamborghini's business here, especially now with the expanded model lineup and increase in sales with the recent launch of the new Super SUV," added Mr. Melvin Goh, Managing Director of Lamborghini Singapore.
Notable personalities such as Hayley and Jayley Woo also took time off their busy schedules to witness this exciting event. The evening also ended with a stellar combination of bright colours and aggressive style that made up the fleet of Lamborghinis driving around the automobile precinct to celebrate the launch of Lamborghini Singapore's new showroom. The sound of V10 and V12 engines were heard echoing through the streets when a marque of Lamborghini Aventadors and Huracans arrived in full force.
The brand new Lamborghini Singapore showroom is located at 24 Leng Kee Road Singapore (159096).
