14 Feb 2020|802 views
Ahead of its world premiere before the end of the year, Lamborghini Squadra Corse's new track-only hypercar has carried out its first engine fire up in the Sant'Agata Bolognese factory.
The 6.5-litre V12 naturally aspirated engine, which will produce 818bhp, will be part of a limited edition model developed by the Centro Stile department of Squadra Corse.
Squadra Corse's hypercar features a number of features that will set it apart for the regular road car range, including a large rear wing, an airscoop on the roof and a racing hood with dual air intakes. With an aluminium front frame and a carbon fibre monocoque, the hypercar has been designed to be of the highest safety standards, while an innovative self-locking type differential will allow better driveability on the circuit.
