Leapmotor has expanded its European electric lineup with the launch of the new B05 at the Poznan Motor Show in Poland.
Aerodynamics play a central role in its exterior design, with features such as an active grille shutter, front air curtains, and optimised side deflectors enhancing both efficiency and range.
It also sports signature blade‑style LED headlamps, a full‑width rear light bar, sculpted body lines, and 19‑inch "Swift-Wing" aerodynamic alloy wheels. The B05 will be offered in a curated palette of expressive exterior shades, which includes Lightning Yellow, Windy Grey, Metallic Black, Starry Night Blue, and Galaxy Silver.
Inside, the B05's driver‑focused layout sees a 14.6‑inch 2.5K central touchscreen (powered by the Leap OS 4.0 Plus) alongside an 8.8‑inch digital instrument cluster. High-quality materials and soft surfaces are used throughout, while eco-leather seats contribute to comfort. Both front seats also offer heated functions.
And thanks to its CTC architecture, the B05 allows for generous space for both front and rear occupants. A panoramic skylight with electric sunshade helps fill the interior with natural light, while 25 storage compartments distributed throughout the cabin and a 1,400-litre boot offers practicality.
Powering the rear-wheel driven B05 is an electric drive system delivering an output of 160kW and 240Nm of torque. The model comes with two trims, Life and Design.
The Life version is available with two battery options: A 56.2kWh Pro battery offering up to 401km of WLTP range, and a 67.1kWh Pro Max battery that offers up to 482km of WLTP range.
Meanwhile, the top-of-the-range Design version is offered exclusively with the 67.1kWh Pro Max battery and comes with additional comfort features, refined interior materials and an upgraded audio system.
And in terms of safety, the B05 is built on a high-strength body structure, with extensive usage of advanced steel and optimised structural design throughout. Occupant protection is provided by seven airbags, including a centre airbag. It is also equipped with 21 advanced driver assistance systems that utilise 14 sensors and cameras and offers Level 2 driver assistance.
