Limited Edt reimagines PUMA x Porsche Legacy Suede Torque

Porsche celebrates 50 unforgettable years of the 911 Turbo in 2024, and in honour of the car's golden jubilee, PUMA and Porsche Legacy have announced the launch of the Singapore-exclusive PUMA x Porsche Legacy collection.

To celebrate the legacy of the 911 Turbo, Mandeep Chopra, the founder of Limited Edt, a Singaporean footwear retailer, has reimagined the PUMA x Porsche Legacy Suede Torque. Specifically, Chopra has added distinctive Singaporean flair - in the form of Singapore's national flower, Vanda Miss Joaquim - into the sneakers.

The addition of Vanda Miss Joaquim symbolises more than just botanical beauty. Instead, it also represents Singapore's uniqueness and diverse culture. Similar to the Porsche 911 Turbo, the design has a timeless appeal. 

Chopra has also incorporated the design in a way where it is distinctive, yet harmonises seamlessly with the look of the Porsche Legacy Suede Torque sneaker. 

Only 74 pairs of Sport Yellow Suede and 119 pairs of Alpine Snow Suede will be made available. The sneakers will also be individually numbered, enhancing the exclusivity of each pair of shoes.

Each pair of sneakers will be placed in a shoebox that not only features Vanda Miss Joaquim, but also a 1974 graphic, commemorating the year Porsche unveiled the 911 Turbo at the Paris Fashion Show. 

The launch of the sneakers at Porsche Studio also showcased the Porsche 911 'Turbo No. 1', for an extra nostalgic touch to the golden jubilee celebration. The event not only celebrated the collaboration between PUMA and Limited Edt, but also Porsche's pioneering spirit.
