The German based racing team has roped in Lotus to supply the engines. The racers will sport two iconic liveries: the first in black and gold which was famous in the 1970’s, and the second in the classic Gulf Oils livery in blue and orange.
Executive Chairman for Lola, Martin Birrane commented on the delivery of the two racers, "We have had a very successful winter at Lola with eight LMP cars having been ordered. We believe that new entries in sports cars are recognising the technical capabilities and iconic brand of Lola. It is pleasing that Kodewa, sponsored by Lotus, has chosen Lola to compete in the FIA World Endurance Championship, including the Le Mans 24 hours, this year."
Lola will mark its 2012 season debut at the Sebring 12 Hours in Florida on March 17th.
