Lotus Singapore revamps Eletre and Emeya lineup

With the arrival of the new model year, Lotus Singapore has revamped its lineup for the Eletre hyper-SUV and Emeya hyper-GT. They will be offered with the model names '600' and '900', a reference to the two power outputs on offer for both models.
Previously, the lineup for the Emeya started with the base variant, before climbing up to the Emeya S and finally, the range-topping Emeya R. The Eletre, on the other hand, was offered only as the Eletre S and Eletre R in Singapore.
Lotus is also pairing the new versions with clearly identifiable, predefined equipment levels containing popular options and choices, meaning that customers can now choose more immediately between trim levels with either a sportier aura, or a luxurious and technological vibe.
As a result of this new naming convention, the Lotus Eletre is now available in four trim levels: The Eletre 600, 600 GT SE, 600 Sport SE, and the 900 Sport. The Lotus Emeya will also follow the same nomenclature.
Customers can also further customise their car thanks to a wide selection of optional packages, individual options, and colours. New colours in the palette are Zenith White and Akoya White for the Eletre, while interior-wise, customers can now also opt for the Quartz and Jasper interior themes with the new LOTUSWEAR Performance Fabric for the seats.
In '600' guise, both the Eletre and Emeya share some traits, which include a 450kW (604bhp) all-electric and dual-motor powertrain, standard all-wheel drive, a 112kWh battery, and 20-inch wheels. Their top speeds, however, differ slightly; the Eletre 600 is able to hit 256km/h at full tilt, while the Emeya 600 falls just ever so slightly behind with 250km/h.
But if you do want a faster car, the 900 variant of either car will do the job nicely. Both the Eletre 900 and Emeya 900 come with a more powerful 675kW (905bhp) dual-motor powertrain.
The Emeya 900 smashes the century sprint in 2.78 seconds and can hit a top speed of 256km/h, while the Eletre 900 can go from 0-100km/h in 2.95 seconds before hitting a top speed of 265km/h. (It's worth noting at this point, too, that only the range-topping '900 Sport' variants of both models get a two-speed transmission; the rest of the pack is fitted with a single-speed one instead.)
But speed doesn't really matter in this city state, so let's talk about both the Emeya and Eletre's impressive range instead: The Emeya can achieve a maximum WLTP-rated range of 610km, while the Eletre isn't too far behind with 600km. Not bad, right? Wait till you hear about the charging.
With 800V technology with Advanced Lotus Hyper Charging, the Emeya's battery can be charged from 10-80% in around 14 minutes with a 400kW DC charger, while the Eletre does the same in 20 minutes with a 350kW DC charger.
Lotus Cars Singapore has said that both the new Emeya and Eletre are available to be ordered now. The Emeya 600 will start at $391,700, while the Eletre 600 starts at $437,700. For the fastest and best version of both lineups, the Emeya 900 Sport will retail from $582,700, while the Eletre 900 Sport starts from $688,700.
