Mazda has announced a small tall wagon dubbed the Flairwagon to its lineup in Japan.The Flairwagon at 1,365mm high can comfortably accommodate four adults with ample headroom, and a 2,070mm long cabin ensures ample space even for the rear passengers. Sliding rear doors are featured on both sides and passengers can enter with ease with a low rear step even in tight parking situations. An easy closure function automatically closes both sliding rear doors from a half-closed position and the left rear door can be remotely operated.
The Flairwagon has been designed for comfort and ease of use like rear seats that can be almost flat folded to create a spacious cargo area enough to transport a bicycle and an upper glove box compartment located in channels air from the air conditioner to use it as cold storage.
The IS Limited Flairwagon is equipped with a start/stop system with Hill Hold function and achieves an outstanding fuel economy of 22.2 km/L. All Flairwagon models emit ultra-low emissions with exhaust emissions at least 75 percent lower than Japan's 2005 standards.
