The Mazda 6e (stylised as 'Mazda6e') has finally graced Singapore's shores, a year after its unveiling at the 2025 Brussels Motor Show. Though this is just a preview, Mazda has promised that its first all-electric fastback is set to launch in Singapore in July 2026.
Representing an electrified evolution of the popular Mazda 6 Sedan, the all-new fastback marks the next development in Mazda's "Kodo – Soul of Motion" design philosophy. Exterior features include a sculpted silhouette, smooth flowing lines, and bold proportions. Its low roofline and short-deck coupe profile offer a sporty aesthetic.

More standout exterior details include frameless doors, integrated door handles, and a bold lighting signature. At the front, its glowing signature wing delivers a front fascia reflecting Mazda's DNA. Parallel lines running along the car's body emphasise its sleekness, while the lower door surfacing is said to showcase the movement and light-play that define Kodo design. It also comes with 19-inch aerodynamic wheels that feature a sporty five-spoke pattern.
At the rear, the taillight adopts a sleek horizontal LED design, with Mazda lettering replacing the traditional rear emblem for a cleaner, contemporary finish. The Mazda6e's retractable rear spoiler also activates at speed, delivering added downforce and stabilisation for confident driving, before "disappearing" into the bodywork, maintaining a smooth and aerodynamically efficient profile.
Drawing inspiration from the Japanese concept of "Ma", which emphasises the beauty of open space, the Mazda6e's interior delivers sophisticated simplicity
Inside, the Mazda6e's panoramic roof contributes to an airy ambience and sense of space. Its intelligent cockpit sports features that ensure information is delivered clearly and intuitively, with an AR head-up display keeping essential information within the driver's line of sight, and a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and 14.6-inch centre display controllable via touch or voice.
Powering the Mazda6e fastback is a single-motor electric drivetrain that delivers an output of 190kW and 290Nm of torque. This is also paired with a 78kWh battery that allows for an estimated driving range of 545km. It also supports 194kW DC fast charging, allowing for a 10-80% charge in 24 minutes and 270km of range to be added in 15 minutes.
Sgcarmart understands that local Mazda authorised dealer, Eurokars Group, is aiming for the Mazda6e to retail at under $200,000 when it is officially launched to the market (inclusive of COE). More details will be revealed closer to the launch date.
