Mercedes and Superplastic launch new collection

Global entertainment brand and home of synthetic celebrities Janky and Guggimon, Superplastic, has marked a new high point in its partnership with Mercedes-Benz with the launch of a new limited edition capsule collection at a VIP event held at the Superplastic flagship store in New York City's SoHo district.

The event coincided with World Dachshund Day, and honours Superdackel, the newest friend of the Superplastic universe. A modern reinvention of the 'Wackeldackel' nodding dog toy that has graced dashboards for generations, Superdackel now has its own collection, which is led by a 304mm handcrafted Superdackel figure. This figure is sculpted in the U.S.A from 100% cherry, maple, walnut, and alder wood, and styled with the iconic Mercedes-Benz emblem.

The collection also includes a hoodie, t-shirt, and hat, all made from organic cotton

Only 65 examples of the figure are to be made, all sold with a small base for display in a custom Baltic birch box.

Those looking for something different will also be able to purchase the line of apparel from the collection, which is said to include a hoodie, t-shirt, and hat, all made from 100% organic cotton. Also in the collection is a 100% silk scarf, with sports an eye-catching checker pattern and the iconic Superdackel logo.

And for the canine friends, a dog collar in two sizes with the iconic Superdackel logo is also available.

As part of this collaboration, the short film, titled Road Tripz - Starring Janky, Guggimon & Superdackel, is now available via the ZYNX in-car video platform through the MBUX Superscreen in the new E-Class.
