Mercedes-Benz E500 Coupe gets a tuning program from Vath

Vath has optimized the E500 Coupe's ECU, and installed a new sport air filter and exhaust, and the upgraded car now produces 429bhp and 575Nm of torque from its 5.5-litre V8 engine, an increase of 46bhp from the standard E500 Coupe's 388bhp. This enables the modified Vath V50S to reach a top speed of 280km/h.

Vath has also loaded the car with numerous cosmetic options that can be specified to give the E500 Coupe a more aggressive look. Among the options include 20-inch three-piece Smiths wheels, with adjustable suspension and shocks.

Vath also offers a new brake system with six-piston brake callipers, 378mm brake discs and Castrol SRF brake fluid with new lines. The exterior has also been given a makeover, with a new front fascia, deck lid spoiler, and rear diffuser made from carbon fibre. The interior can also be specified with leather and carbon trim
