Back in March 2025, Mercedes-Benz unveiled its all-new CLA model, with two variants announced at launch. And now, the brand has announced another addition to its budding new family: The all-new CLA Shooting Brake.
The new CLA Shooting Brake marks the first electric Mercedes‑Benz available as an estate, and with the optional Multibeam LED headl ights and light strip, the illuminated panel with a Mercedes‑Benz pattern contributes to the unmistakable identity of all models in the new vehicle family. The rear lights also have a star-shaped design and are connected by a light strip.
Its exterior colour portfolio offers a wide range of solid and metallic paints, including two new colours: Aquamint solid and sheer blue metallic, developed exclusively for the new vehicle family.
The CLA Shooting Brake also features a one-piece panoramic glass roof that extends from the windscreen frame to the rear end. To protect against solar radiation, it consists of heat-insulating laminated safety glass that basically keeps the heat out during summer and in during winter. Transparency can also be adjusted for more privacy and improved glare protection.
The seats can be folded down in a 40:20:40 ratio as standard. This increases the boot volume to up to 1,290 litres. Together with the 101-litre frunk under the bonnet, the all-new CLA Shooting Brake offers more load volume than its predecessor.
The new CLA Shooting Brake sports an avant-garde styled interior, with highlights including the sporty, high-positioned centre console divided into two levels, the door panel inserts, and the MBUX Superscreen (consisting of a 10.25-inch screen for the driver and a 14-inch central display). It also offers three upholstery choices in a range of colours.
It is also the second vehicle to operate entirely on the Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS), enabling it to receive regular over-the-air updates and also allowing the MBUX infotainment system to integrate AI from Microsoft and Google.
And like the first CLA model, the CLA Shooting Brake will initially be launched in two variants: The CLA 250+ Shooting Brake and the CLA 350 4MATIC Shooting Brake, both with EQ Technology. The former offers an output of 200kW and 335Nm of torque, as well as a WLTP range of up to 761km. The latter, considered a performance version, comes with two motors and all-wheel drive, and delivers an output of 260kW and 515Nm of torque, as well as a WLTP range of up to 730km. Both variants offer a top speed of 210km/h.
Both variants are powered by an 85kWh battery, with their 800V architecture able to significantly reduce charging time. This means that the CLA 250+ Shooting Brake can recoup a WLTP range of 310km in just 10 minutes (300km for the CLA 350 4MATIC Shooting Brake).
Mercedes-Benz has said that this all-new CLA Shooting Brake model will launch in European markets in March 2026.
