Mercedes-Benz SLK gets a new design package from Piecha Design

The design package, called the Performance RS, consists of an aerodynamic body kit with new front and rear fascias, side skirts, a rear boot spoiler, and SLR-style mirrors. There is also a choice of 19 or 20-inch wheels, with the latter having a 100mm stainless steel outer rim that "perfectly emphasizes the SLK Roadster's wedge-shape."

Performance-wise, Piecha Design has fitted the SLK with a new QUADRO exhaust system, as well as an optional power converter, which the company says is a "must have" for "perceptibly improved acceleration."

Other options for the Performance RS kit for the SLK include a revised roof-lowering module which allows the top to be opened or closed at speeds up to 60km/h, a glass wind deflector and LED lighting for the side skirts.
