Mercedes has revealed the first images of the interior of the new SL.
Sitting dominant between driver and passenger will be an 11.9-inch multimedia touchscreen, resting atop a metallic panel that breaks through the leather surfaces at the front and rear.

The 11.9-inch screen can also be adjusted electronically into a more vertical position to minimise reflections caused by sunlight when driving with the top down.
Its portrait format offering easier use during navigation, while offering more space for passengers. The touchscreen also floats between the two central turbine nozzles as a digital contrast to the emotive design elements.
Another visual highlight of the cabin is the symmetrical dashboard, designed as a sculptural, powerful wing and structured into an upper and lower section. The SL will also get four newly developed, galvanised air-conditioning turbine nozzles, their surfaces merging into the instrument panel in the form of powerful power domes.
The driver of the SL will also be treated to a 12.3-inch high-resolution instrument cluster integrated into a high-tech visor to prevent reflections caused by sunlight.
