MG Cyberster completes first leg of 16,000km journey

MG is taking a Cyberster roadster on an epic tour from London to Shanghai, and the car has already finished the European section of the journey.

The pre-production Cyberster is being piloted by U.K. adventurers and brothers Ross and Hugo Turner as part of a campaign titled Charging into the Future. The vehicle is said to already have covered more than 13,600km, more that was originally planned owing to the popularity of the car in Europe.

The pair and the MG Cyberster will continue along their tour, which is scheduled to see them travelling along historic sections of the Silk Road, the Middle East, and India, as they make their way to Shanghai.

Both brothers are said to have been impressed by the ride quality offered by the car, even though it is a pre-production model, while additionally commending the fact that it has been able to offer enough space for all necessary luggage, despite being a convertible.
