MINI releases latest John Cooper Works models

MINI has unveiled its latest John Cooper Works (JCW) models, the MINI JCW and MINI JCW Convertible.

Powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine offering 228bhp and 380Nm of torque, the JCW goes from 0-100km/h in 6.1 seconds before hitting a top speed of 250km/h, while the JCW Convertible goes from 0-100km/h in 6.4 seconds, with a slightly lower top speed of 245km/h.

The new 240mm central instrument display provides relevant information, with the new JCW mode adding performance-related data like power, torque, engine temperature and a G-Force meter

Continuing a consistent exterior appearance for its latest models, the models sport race-inspired chassis adjustments with a centrally mounted single-exit exhaust system for the first time, with 17-inch JCW Sprint Spoke alloy wheels and Chili Red exterior paint as standard in both variants.

Body colours can also be changed, including the model exclusive Cooper Grey for the JCW Convertible.

Both models receive Level 1 standard specification, with features like Head-Up display, Heated Front Seats and Exterior Mirror Package, and Harman Kardon speakers as standard

The cars' motorsport-inspired interior can be seen through JCW seats upholstered in black synthetic leather with knitted red stitching, and a knitted surface on the dashboard imitating a chequered-flag pattern.

Also standard in both variants are driving assistance tools like Parking Assistant Plus and automatic speed and distance control, to ensure safe comfort and usability for daily driving.
