Mitsubishi reveals its Rebelle Rally contender: The 2022 Outlander

Mitsubishi Motors North America has unveiled the 2022 Outlander SUV that will carry Team 207 throughout the Rebelle Rally from 7 to 16 October 2021 in the U.S.A.
The lightly modified vehicle sports a special livery that pays tribute to the brand's history-making Dakar Rally win twenty years ago, when Jutta Kleinschmidt drove a Mitsubishi Pajero to victory, becoming the only woman ever to win the world-famous Dakar.
The 2022 Outlander will be piloted by sisters-in-law Selena 'Mason' Converse and Erin Mason. Mason is a medical service technician in the U.S. Air Force, while Erin works U.S. Navy aircraft carriers as an aviation structural mechanic. Both joined the military right out of high school, to establish their independence, seek adventure, and serve their country.
The two will be accompanied by two-and-a-half-year old, PTSD-trained service dog, Sammy. They will represent Mitsubishi Motors North America and veterans nonprofit Record the Journey on the nine-day, 2,000km, all-women, off-road Rebelle Rally.
