Mitsubishi has revealed the first teaser images of an all new compact SUV, set to be launched at the 30th Indonesian International Auto Show come 10 August 2023.
The yet unnamed model will first launch in the ASEAN region, and is simply described as offering a stylish yet robust SUV styling, while promising comfort and practicality thanks to its spacious cabin filed with versatile storage space. The teaser images and photo above show the car is set to get a head light design similar to what we have already seen in the Mitsubishi Colt.
The car is also revealed to come with a total of four driving modes: 'Normal', 'Wet', 'Gravel', and 'Mud', all designed to offer peace of mind no matter the road condition. 'Wet' mode is said to make it less likely for the driver to lose control of the steering wheel for worry-free driving, even on roads flooded by sudden showers - a feature that many in South-East Asia should find handy. The new SUV is also said to offer a total of 222mm of ground clearance.
The SUV will additionally come with a Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium sound system, while the inside of the vehicle has also received sound quality enhancements, jointly developed with Yamaha to bring out the full potential of its speakers. The sound system is said to not only match the speaker volume to vehicle speed, but will also make adjustments to the sound quality itself so it continues to deliver lively bass and clear mid and high-tones even when the vehicle is driving over rough surfaces.
