Morning rush hour hit by train service delay

Commuters using train services on the East-West Line were hit by an hour-long delay during the morning rush hour on Thursday.
A Facebook post by train operator SMRT stated that one of the trains on the line had a faulty signal code at around 7:05am. As such, the train had to be manually operated. Train speed was kept at 18km/h for the safety of passengers.
Train services resumed to normal at around 8:10am.
