MotoGP champion Bagnaia experiences the new Temerario HPEV
03 Jun 2025|65 views
With three MotoGP titles to his name alongside 40 wins and 78 podium finishes, Francesco 'Pecco' Bagnaia is one of the most successful riders in Grand Prix motorcycle racing. But his interest doesn't just rest in two-wheelers; Bagnaia is also a big fan of the Lamborghini brand.
The lucky number 63 on his Ducati Desmosedici GP motorcycle ties both the Italian rider together with the Italian marque, which was founded in 1963. And with his love for Lamborghini running deep, Bagnaia jumped at the chance to be the one of the first behind the wheel of the new Temerario HPEV, which is now equipped with a new twin-turbo V8 engine that can reach 10,000rpm.
Paired with three electric motors, this gives the Temerario HPEV a combined output of 907bhp, with a century sprint timing of 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 343km/h.
Describing his experience of the new Temerario HPEV, Bagnaia states that "rather than a turbo, it almost feels like it has a naturally aspirated engine with an enhanced intake", as well as praising its ease of handling.
Lamborghini has said that the vehicle is not yet offered for sale.
