Motorcyclist died after hitting lamp post

In a freak accident that took place yesterday morning, a motorcyclist lost control of his bike and hit his head on a lamp post along Braddell. He was pronounced dead on the spot.
A witness told The Straits Times he heard a loud screech, and saw the man skid.
Police received a call requesting for assistance at 7:49am.
It is understood that about five people rendered help to the motorcyclist, and one attempted cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the man.
